Browsing and selecting items

At About Baby we want to ensure that you are able to find the products you want and provide the right level of information to make an informed descision about products you wish to purchase.
To browse the products according to category, please select the "Browse ergo products" from the main menu.   The available categories will be displayed and you will be able to navigate to the product type you are interested in. 
Clicking on the "Product Details..." link of any product will display further in depth information.
Items can be purchased by clicking on the "Add to Cart" icon.  For some products the item will be added immediately to your shopping cart.  For other items an additional step is required to select attributes of the item, for example colour or size.

Your shopping cart is displayed whenever you select an item to purchase or you choose the "Show cart" link from the summary cart on the left hand side underneath the main menu. 

From the shopping cart you are able to remove items or change the quantity of items in your cart.  You are also able to navigate back to the shop to continue browsing other products or to checkout and purchase the shopping cart as it is.

 

Registering with About Baby and our Privacy Policy


Registration at About Baby is only required at the checkout of your shopping cart.  You will only be requested for the minimum amount of information required to fulfill your order and to provide quality service, i.e. your name, phone number, email address and delivery address.
The privacy and security of a customer's personal information is of utmost importance to us at About Baby.  Therefore we will not sell, rent or lease your information to any 3rd party without your explicit approval, except where required to by law.

 

Choosing from the Shipping Options

About Baby uses standard parcel post via Australia post.  For all orders over $100, About Baby will provide free postal insurance. 

Orders will normally be sent the following business day if orders are received by 5pm.   

If merchandise is out-of-stock when ordered, About Baby will organise an express delivery of the merchandise direct from the wholesaler at no extra cost to you.  While every effort is made to minimise the delivery time, it make take the wholesaler a few days to process the order.  You will be notified by email if your order includes out-of-stock items.

 

Paying safely over the internet via Paypal

The number one concern of online internet shoppers is the security of the payment system.  About Baby takes this concern very seriously and has integrated the internationally recognised Paypal payment system into our website. This ensures that your sensitive financial information will only ever be handled by Paypal and will not be visible to other parties, including About Baby.  The Paypal payment system was selected as it provides the highest possible level of encryption of your sensitive credit card details so they don't fall into the wrong hands.  Click here to read more about Paypal encryption.
At checkout, customers will be directed to the Paypal website for the option to pay with either:
(1) Credit card (no Paypal account required, process is as other online shops)
(2) Paypal account (Paypal account required) 

 

Please note that when paying through Paypal, you will need to re-enter your contact details and your delivery address.  In the situation where the delivery address entered in Paypal is different from the delivery address entered when registering at About Baby, the order will be sent to the delivery address entered in Paypal as this will be the most recently entered information. 

 

Cancelling orders and Returning Merchandise

It is important to us at About Baby that customers feel 100% comfortable purchasing from our online store.  

Orders can be cancelled by phone or email.  As long as the merchandise has not been posted, then no cost will be incurred on the customer.

If you are unhappy with received goods, we offer a 14 day refund or exchange for merchandise returned in a "like new" condition complete with packaging.  The cost of postage & handling will not be refunded in this case.

Items with faulty manufacturing can be returned for a full refund or exchange including postage & handling.

Before returning goods, please contact us via phone or email to inform us of the reasons for the return.
